傑森貝克以冰袋代替潑冰水 , 搖滾傳奇漸凍人生
看膩大奶小奶挑戰冰桶了嗎？20歲就被診斷患有ALS（肌萎縮性脊髓側索硬化症）的知名吉他手傑森貝克（Jason Becker）日前也親自進行冰桶挑戰，只剩眼睛能動的他，在鏡頭前慢慢拼出單字，訴說對音樂的熱愛，並以墊冰袋放在頭上代替潑水，感謝大眾對漸凍人的重視。傑森最後也點名重金屬名團吉他手艾迪˙范˙海倫（Edward Van Halen）、傑森前東家主唱大衛˙李˙羅斯 （David Lee Roth )流行歌手約翰梅爾（John Mayer）
影片中，傑森利用父親為他設計的交流面板，不斷轉動眼球，拼出一個個單字組成的句子，他表示非常高興冰桶挑戰讓大眾對於漸凍人有更多認識，也自認相當幸運，能得到許多家庭及朋友的幫助，患病的25年來，雖然已經無法再拿起吉他，卻仍舊靠著特殊軟體，以「眼睛」不斷創作音樂。
傑森也自嘲因為已經無法動手潑冰水，便請家人將墊冰袋放在頭上代替，像是戴著護士帽一般，模樣相當可愛；傑森的活力與熱情也讓網友深受感動，紛紛讚聲他是「最棒的吉他手」目前約翰梅爾已經回應傑森的要求，在潑冰水前，還彈了一曲傑森的創作「Air」回應他的點名。
