The "Michael Phelps is angry" meme has taken over the Internet. The inspiration for that anger dates back to the 2012 Olympics when Chad Le Clos handed Phelps his first 200M butterfly loss in a decade. From there the two formed a friendship that very quickly dissolved. Here is the story behind their rivalry.
