7年來首次強颱登陸杜鵑入夜通過宜花
杜鵑凌晨1時出海 暴風圈仍壟罩全台 中央氣象局在今天(29日)凌晨1時15分發布颱風警報顯示，颱風杜鵑轉弱為中颱，颱風中心凌晨1時在彰化縣芳苑鄉出海，但暴風圈仍籠罩台灣各地及澎湖、金門，各地風雨持續，馬祖將進入暴風圈，風雨增強。
中央氣象局指出，第21號颱風杜鵑登陸後受地形影響，強度已減弱為中度颱風，半徑也稍縮小，路徑略為偏南。預計杜鵑颱風未來仍將朝西北轉西北西移動，強度仍有持續減弱的趨勢。
杜鵑颱風中心今天清晨5時位於臺中西北方約100公里之海面上，以每小時19公里速度，繼續向西北進行。
根據最新氣象資料顯示，杜鵑目前中心在苗栗近海，繼續向西北移動。其暴風圈仍籠罩臺灣各地及澎湖、金門、馬祖，各地風雨持續中，金門及馬祖風雨將逐漸增強，預計颱風強度仍有稍減弱的趨勢。
氣象局指出，今天臺中、彰化、南投、雲林、嘉義、臺南、高雄、屏東及苗栗等地區仍有大雨或豪雨發生的機率；臺灣其他地區及澎湖縣、金門縣、連江縣亦有局部大雨發生的機率，請特別注意。

Epic Typhoon Haiyan Hits Philippines Massive Storm Ever Recorded on Planet Earth
Philippines delegate Naderev (Yeb) Saño, announces his decision to go on hunger strike on the first day of the COP19 Climate Change Summit in Poland, 11 November 2013.
Making an impassioned plea for action by the conference, he said that he would be fasting in solidarity with his country-folk until action to prevent climate change is forthcoming.
Saño received a standing ovation after describing the hardship suffered by Filipino's, including members of his own family, due to the "colossal" typhoon Haiyan which recently hit his country.

View Larger Map World's Strongest Super Typhoon Typhoon Haiyan or Yolanda has made landfall along Southern Samar and then a second landfall on Leyte as a record breaking Typhoon with winds on a 1 minute wind scale via JTWC at 314kph. That is stronger than the max winds in Typhoon Tip and the equivalant of the winds typically found in a EF3 to EF4 Tornado. The difference is the wind around the eye wall of this monster is about 100kph wide.
