Acer Aspire S7 Hands On http://www.netbooknews.com The Acer S7 Ultrabook line up features an aluminum body design with an interesting twist on the lid made of a combination of metal and glossy tempered glass, the 11.6" only offers and aluminum lid, both units sport extremely sharp edges. The S7 series will no doubt be the first of many touch-enabled Ultrabooks we see in Taipei this week, and these in particular have screens that fold back 180 degrees, allowing the system to lie flat. The 13.3 edition claims to offers up to 12 hours of battery life, while the 11.6-inch model can run for up to 9 hours.

英特爾資深副總裁Tom Kilroy在2012年台北國際電腦展(Computex)的主題演講中正式介紹新一波Ultrabook (超極緻筆電)系統。Kilroy針對觸控技術的重要性發表重要聲明，宣布英特爾與多家觸控面板製造商簽署協議，確保在未來數年間，觸控技術的產能足以支援Ultrabook 觸控機種的預期成長需求
他還強調英特爾致力在各種行動裝置上提供以使用者為中心的體驗，包括從Ultrabook、智慧型手機、一直到平板電腦，全力促進這三大類產品的發展。
超過35款全新超輕薄、超快反應的Ultrabook系統將在30天內上市，另有超過110款新機種將陸續推出。內含第3代Intel Core(酷睿)處理器，加上全球最先進的22奈米3-D三閘極電晶體，新款Ultrabook裝置反應更加即時且防護更嚴密，並提供一般消費者及商務人士多款時尚的外觀設計。
