Ubuntu 12.04 Forensics - Listing Disks With FDISK
This video is part of a series on Computer Forensics using Ubuntu 12.04. In this Lecture Snippet I use the sudo fdisk -l command to list the hard disk drives associated with the operating system. FDISK will list out the hard drives, their associated device id as well as the partitioning structure of a drive.
How to format USB drive
fdisk /dev/sdc
mkfs -t vfat /dev/sdc1
